The Tank Biathlon competition is scheduled to be held from August 13 to 27 at the training ground. On this occasion, the Vietnamese Tank Contingent and other participants were given information related to technical issues and spent time studying the areas as well as conditions of the competition. This year’s event drew the participation of 21 contingents, divided into two groups. Group 1 includes ten contingents from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Venezuela, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, China, Uzbekistan, and Mongolia, while the second one consists of teams from Abkhazia, Armenia, Zimbabwe, Iran, Laos, Mali, Myanmar, Syria, Sudan, Tajikistan, and South Ossetia. According to the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (Vitas), greening the textile and apparel sector has become a global trend that local firms must follow to reach sustainable development targets and scale up export into key markets like the EU and United States. It would be particularly significant as new-generation free trade agreements with Vietnam’s engagement all feature the commitments for environmental protection and emission reduction, Vitas stated.
