(Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has requested the national energy master plan for 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 reflect and help implement Vietnam’s commitments on net zero emissions and in the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP). Ha made the request at a meeting with the national appraisal council for the draft national energy master plan in Hanoi on June 2. The Deputy PM said the plan should include some new viewpoints and specify important tasks in identifying the relationship and the mechanism for coordination among energy segments (coal, oil and gas, electricity, renewable energy, among others). Hanoians flock to supermarkets, parks to escape heat wave
Hanoi is conducting power cuts rotationally across the city amid the power shortages due to the prolonged hot weather, which has affected local residents. On Friday, many areas in Long Bien District faced power cuts. From 4 pm, hundreds of people went to Aeon Mall Long Bien to shop and avoid the heat. Cliff camping in Vietnam: an adventure amid stunning landscapes

Camping at an untouched meadow in northern Vietnam
Bai Bui Meadow is in Khop Village, Lac Son District, Hoa Binh Province, approximately 140 km from Hanoi, spanning about 9 hectares at an altitude of 600 meters above sea level. According to Nguyen Duc Sam, a local resident who now works in tourism in the area, it was initially used by the local community as a grazing ground for cattle. However, with the local road renovation in 2022, the spot started drawing visitors. On May 13, Vu Minh Quang from Hanoi and his friends decided to camp overnight at the meadow after finding it online.
