HCM City (VNA) – Public employees at the communal-level People’s Committees play an important role in realising Ho Chi Minh City’s socio-economic development plans, and as such need specialised training to better do their duties and meet modern requirements amidst the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The remark was made by Chairman of the HCM City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong at a meeting on January 29 with 322 chairpersons of the administrations of wards, communes, and towns in the 24 local districts. He said that in 2019, HCM City will focus efforts on making administrative reform acceleration and implementing the National Assembly’s Resolution No.54 on special mechanisms for the city being piloted. PM Phuc makes New Year visit to Danang city
At the headquarters of the Da Nang Police, the Government chief hailed the remarkable achievements and contributions of the municipal police well as the armed forces nationwide to the country’s socio-economic development. He highlighted the central city as a venue for important regional and international events in the time to come, asking the municipal police force to well perform task of ensuring security and safety for the success of major events.
