World’s first zero-emission boat visits HCM City

2022 AFC Cup a chance for young players of Vietnam’s Viettel FC
Many experts expect that young talents of Hanoi-based Viettel FC will be given more game time in the upcoming group stage of the 2022 AFC Cup to prove themselves. Viettel FC, Laos’ Young Elephants FC, Cambodia’s Phnom Penh Crown FC, and Singapore’s Hougang United FC are direct entrants in Group I of the tournament. As Viettel’s capability is considered to be superior to that of the other three, the tourney will be an opportunity for coach Bae Ji Won, who just signed with the Vietnamese football club in January and took over from his predecessor Truong Viet Hoang on June 17, to test the club’s young players. Inland Waterway Administration submits report on local fee collections
Vessels loaded with goods are sailing into Cambodia via the Vinh Xuong-Caom Samnor Border Gate. — Photo angiang.gov.vn After receiving several complaints about waterway fee collections in Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong Province, the Viet Nam Inland Waterway Administration (VIWA) has submitted a report to the Ministry of Transport (MoT), commenting on the case. VIWA asserts that the freight involved in the complaints was transported via natural waterways connecting to seaports, which are under the management of MoT, but not via local facilities connecting to seaports, which are under the management of local authorities. Accordingly, it is beyond local authority to collect facility fees on the freight.
