On the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE), the market benchmark VN-Index lost 35.21 points, or 3.17 per cent, to 1,075.97 points. After recovering in the previous session, the index couldn't keep the momentum to end the morning trade with a decline of 4.75 points. The market's breadth inclined to a negative zone with 271 stocks on the southern market going down, of which 45 registered the biggest intra-day loss of 7 per cent, while 79 stocks advanced. (Photo: Google) Hanoi (VNA) - The world’s most popular search engine Google paid tribute to Suong Nguyet Anh , the first female editor of the first women’s newspaper in Vietnam by posting a drawing of her on its homepage on February 1. On this day in 1918, the first publication of “Nu Gioi Chung” (Women's Bell) newspaper, where Nguyet Anh was editor in chief, was published. The drawing of Nguyet Anh on Google Doodle was illustrated by Hanoi-based guest artist Camelia Pham. In honour of one of her most popular poems based around apricot blossoms, the Doodle artwork incorporates apricot blossoms and an apricot colour palette. Nguyet Anh was born on March 8, 1864, in An Binh Dong village of southern Ben Tre province. She became the country’s first female editor in chief when she started writing for “Nu Gioi Chung” newspaper in Saigon under the pen name Suong Nguyet Anh, meaning Widowed Nguyet Anh. Prime Minister to hold dialogue with young people in March
Ministries, agencies and units concerned were assigned to perform tasks in the event organizing plan issued by the Minister of Home Affairs. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) was asked to work with the Government Office and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) to publicize the plan and conclusions of the event on the portals of the government, MoHA and HCYU Central Committee. According to Decree No.13/2021/ND-CP, the PM and chairpersons of the people's committees at all levels are responsible for holding dialogues with young people at least once a year. Dialogue discussions include mechanisms, policies and laws for young people, activities of agencies and organizations involved in legitimate rights and interests of the youth, the role and responsibility of young people in study and labor as well as their participation in socio-economic development and national defense, and other suggestions.
