Hanoi has recorded three infections caused by the BA.5 sub-strain of the Omicron coronavirus variant, according to the municipal Department of Health. Many Vietnamese airlines have proposed that the ceiling prices of domestic air tickets be further increased or removed as they have suffered heavy losses due to wildly soaring fuel costs. Even though air tickets have been rising, even higher than before the COVID-19 pandemic, carriers argued that they have to make up for relentlessly rising fuel expenses. Traffic accidents decline in five months

This is equivalent to a decrease of 800 accidents (14.46%), 30 fatalities (1.07%), and 875 injuries (22.145) compared to the same period last year. Reports from the Office of the Ministry of Transport (MoT) said that since the beginning of this year, there have been 4,733 traffic accidents , which resulted in 2,761 deaths and left 3,078 people injured.
