Ho Chi Minh City records 6 new congestion hotspots in 2022
Ho Chi Minh City’s ongoing traffic difficulties only worsened in 2022, with traffic jams turning more serious and several new congestion hotspots recorded, according to Nguyen Thanh Loi, deputy head of the municipal traffic safety committee. This is the fourth Decent Work Country Programme for Vietnam since its accession to the ILO in 1992. Vietnam’s Decent Work Country Program for the 2022-26 period between the International Labor Organization (ILO) and Vietnam’s Tripartite Constituents (Government, Workers and Employers) was launched on March 28 to act towards social justice and decent work for all in the Southeast Asian country. Some banks used to be very popular, with hundreds of thousands of customers, but they gradually disappeared from the market because of many reasons. Nam Do Commercial Joint Stock Bank Nam Do was a bank based in Ho Chi Minh City, which operated strongly in the mid-90s of the last century. However, under impacts of the Asian financial crisis in 1998, this bank could not recover debts. In 1998, after a series of violations in credit activities, Nam Do Commercial Joint Stock Bank was insolvent and was placed under special control by the State Bank of Vietnam.
