More Vietnamese willing to donate organs after death
When the Vietnam National Coordinating Center for Human Organ Transplantation was established in 2014, it received just 200 registrations, most including center officials and staff while the rest comprised medical workers. The number rose to more than 20,000 in 2017 and over 46,000 in 2021. Currently, it stands at almost 50,000.
