A source told VnExpress that the police have had exchanges with leaders and employees of the company, while checking certain financial and loan activities at the company. Tenants in social housing are exempt from meeting housing and income restrictions. In accordance with the 2014 Law on Housing, those who want to buy, rent, or lease-purchase social housing must fulfil three housing, residency, and income requirements. These individuals must have permanent resident registration in the area where the social housing is situated; otherwise, they must have a one-year or longer temporary stay.
