HCMC police raid Home Credit office
At least four cars brought hundreds of officers to a building on Nguyen Dang Gia Street of Thu Duc City, the headquarters of Home Credit Vietnam. A source told VnExpress that the police have had exchanges with leaders and employees of the company, while checking certain financial and loan activities at the company. At the same time, police forces also barricaded and raided the Galaxy debt trading company on D1 Street. All employees at the company were requested to stop working for an investigation. HCMC police have yet to give an official announcement on what they are investigating the two companies for. Photo: VNA The ministry is proposing a draft law of the National Assembly to pilot a variety of policies to construct social housing and lodging for employees in industrial zones (IZs), in which it is recommended that buyers and lessees meet two housing and income requirements. Tenants in social housing are exempt from meeting housing and income restrictions. In accordance with the 2014 Law on Housing, those who want to buy, rent, or lease-purchase social housing must fulfil three housing, residency, and income requirements. These individuals must have permanent resident registration in the area where the social housing is situated; otherwise, they must have a one-year or longer temporary stay. Central localities warned of flooding
Many central localities have been warned of the risk of flooding in low-lying areas due to heavy rain. IPv6 for Gov’s first phase, which was performed in 2021-2022, focused on state agencies. Half of the ministries, agencies, and localities were set to adopt IPv6 transitional plans and successfully shift towards IPv6 for their portals.
