Earlier, more than 400 metres of fence had been removed from the park area facing Tran Nhan Tong Street which was recently turned to a walking area during weekends. Admission to the park has been free. As the barriers have been removed, Thong Nhat is now connected directly with Tran Nhan Tong street and Thien Quang Lake, creating a large walking space for people. On the morning of February 3, workers at the park started growing over 10,000 rose trees in the area where the fence was removed. According to the organiser – the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion ( NIHBT ), at the one-week event, donors can visit one of the seven venues in Hanoi - including the institute, agricultural general hospital, and the People’s Committee headquarters of Trau Quy town. Following their deal, the ancient Japanese village of the Bizen Osafune area in the EDO period (1603-1863) will be built up at Sun Hill on the grounds of the Sun World Ha Long Complex. Bizen Osafune is located in eastern Okayama Prefecture. It has been the country's largest sword making centre for thousands of years, where the best blacksmiths gather. Vietnam officially set up diplomatic relations with Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday, taking the number of countries that Hanoi has diplomatic ties with to 192. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassadors Dang Hoang Giang and Dennis Francis Smith, heads of the delegations of Vietnam and Trinidad and Tobago, respectively, to the United Nations (UN), signed a joint communiqué on the diplomatic tie establishment on behalf of the two governments at the UN headquarters in New York. The two sides agreed to exchange diplomatic representatives at the ambassadorial level under the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
