Son La's mangoes and longans are being sold in Big C Thang Long supermarket, Ha Noi. — VNS Photo Mai Huong Mangoes and safe agricultural products from Son La Province are being introduced at Big C Thang Long supermarket in Ha Noi. The week-long event, organised by Son La Provincial People’s Committee in collaboration with Central Retail Vietnam, is an effort to promote high-quality provincial products to the capital city’s consumers. The event has attracted 15 businesses and cooperatives, introducing both fresh fruits and vegetables such as mango, longan, avocado, guava, banana, Moc Chau pumpkin, cabbage and zucchini to processed foods. These products all meet food safety standards such as VietGAP, GolbalGAP and organic certification. With more than 400,000 hectares of fertile agricultural land and favourable climate condition, Son La is the largest fruit granary in the North with an annual output of over 450,000 tonnes. Vietjet launches four routes linking top destinations of Viet Nam and India

The new routes’ launch ceremony was held in Mumbai during the visit of HCM City’s leaders to Mumbai as Viet Nam and India mark their 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations. The Phu Quoc – Mumbai route will operate four weekly flights every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, starting from September 8, 2022. Phu Quoc and New Delhi services will commence on September 9, 2022, with three weekly flights on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The HCM City/Ha Noi – Mumbai routes started operation in early June 2022. Hà Nội's first rapid bus route, Kim Mã-Yên Nghĩa, started construction in early 2013 and entered operation at the end of 2016. — VNA/VNS Photo HÀ NỘI — Hà Nội's Department of Transport has proposed the municipal People's Committee to allow passenger cars with 24 seats or more, official vehicles, ambulances and fire trucks to use Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lanes in the capital. This is part of the measures that the department proposed on Thursday in a report on traffic adjustment to solve congestion on some roads. According to the department, despite the BRT bus route being a radial axis, its operational efficiency is reduced, while the high volume of vehicles, especially during peak hours, causes congestion. Allowing other vehicles to enter the BRT lane is expected to reduce congestion and increase the efficiency of traffic infrastructure.
