The new route will officially serve people and tourists from April 25, 2023 with three return flights every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, Vietjet said in a statement. Can Tho is the centre of the Mekong Delta, the gateway to the rich Southwest region with many typical cultural and economic features, while Quang Ninh is also the leading development province in the Northeast economic region and has the world natural heritage of Ha Long Bay, according to the airline. On March 29, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed Decision No.318/QD-TTg approving Khanh Hoa's master planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050. Hanoi raised US$1.3 million for Sea and Islands Fund
Hanoi is calling on agencies, units, businesses, religious organizations, and individuals to contribute to the Fund for Vietnam’s Sea and Islands of the city in 2023. The Hanoi Fund for Vietnam's Sea and Islands received approximately VND30.8 billion (US$1.3 million) from 34 Hanoi agencies this year. Gov’t approves establishment of $85mn new university in Ho Chi Minh City neighbor
The government of Vietnam has given the green light to the development of Tam Anh University in Long An Province, which borders Ho Chi Minh City, according to a decision signed by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on Wednesday. The Ministry of Education and Training was told to team up with relevant agencies to appraise a plan to develop the university as per prevailing regulations and report to the government for consideration. Tam Anh University, whose investor is Tam Anh General Hospital JSC, is slated to get off the ground in 2024, requiring an estimated VND2 trillion (US$85 million) in investment. The university will offer a range of courses across various disciplines, with a focus on medicine and healthcare. He portrays street vendors selling the humble but ubiquitous baguette that can be found at every street corner in large-sized works even as the country’s first banh mi festival begins on March 30 at the Youth Cultural House in HCMC’s District 1. The festival, which has 120 pavilions set up by restaurants, bakeries and domestic and foreign suppliers, is organized by the Vietnam Tourism Association and the HCMC Department of Tourism. Along with the traditional banh mi, other types of breads such as banh mi que (breadsticks) and French baguettes are also showcased. Hanoi topped the list of the highest expense of living in Vietnam
With a CPI increase of 3.4% in 2022, Hanoi stays the most expensive place in Vietnam. The capital city of Hanoi had the highest living expense among Vietnam's 63 provinces and cities, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO) on March 29. The Hanoi Statistics Office stated in late December 2022 that the capital city's Consumer Price Index (CPI) fell 0.15% month on month but increased by 2.83% year on year. The figure raised Hanoi's CPI by 3.4% year on year in 2022, falling short of the city's 4% goal. Hanoi was also one of the eight provinces and cities where living expenses remained unchanged from the previous year.
