HCM City ready to host Vietnam-China diplomatic ties anniversary

Receving Zang An Min, Secretary General of the Organisation Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee on his working visit to HCM City, Vice Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Vo Thi Dung also stressed that the Vietnamese Party, State and people attach great importance to the traditional relations and multi-faceted cooperation with the Chinese side. Vietnam fine-tunes maritime laws

With a coastline of more than 3,200 km and thousands of islands including the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos, Vietnam has benefited much from the sea. Vietnam participated in building the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea and was one of the first countries to sign and approve the Convention. The 1994 adoption reflects Vietnam’s determination to work with other countries to build an equal order to promote development and cooperation at sea. National maritime policies Its Sea and islands are part of Vietnam’s sovereignty, sovereign rights, and jurisdiction, and are a living space and a gateway to other countries. Being aware of the importance of sea and islands in national construction and defense, Vietnam has managed fishery exploitation in parallel with defending national sovereignty, sovereign rights and jurisdiction at sea in order to build a strong, prosperous country. News Digest (13-12-2008) VN, Mongolia agree to boost trade to US$10m by 2010 HA NOI — Viet Nam and Mongolia have agreed to boost two-way trade from US$3.5 million to $10 million by 2010. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Ho Xuan Hung and Mongolian Minister for Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Tunjin Badoamjunai, agreed on this at the 13th session of the Viet Nam-Mongolia Inter-governmental Commission for Economic and Scientific and Technological Co-operation. At the four-day session, which opened in HCM City on Wednesday, the two sides also discussed measures to foster economic, scientific and technological co-operation for the next two years. International integration contributes to national defense and security

This conference aims to comprehensively assess the results attained by the Government in implementing the 11th Politburo’s Resolution No. 22-NQ/TW dated April 10, 2013 on international integration, and the 12th Party Central Committee’s Resolution No. 06-NQ/TW dated November 5, 2016  on effectively implementing the process of international integration and maintaining socio-political stability in the context of Vietnam’s participation in new-generation free trade agreements,” with a focus on the period of 2014-2019. Defense Minister works in Cao Bang province
