CBRE: HCM City among top preferred cities for cross-border investments in Asia-Pacific
Hanoi (VNA) – Ho Chi Minh City has been ranked fifth as Asia Pacific investors’ most preferred market for investments by CBRE Group, Inc. CBRE’s Asia Pacific Investor Intentions Survey 2021 was conducted between November 9 and December 14 last year. Dak Lak man dreams of electric wheelchair
The dilapidated house of Nguyen Ngoc Thang is located inside a small alleyway on Y Ni Ksor Street, Buon Ma Thuot City. There's nothing valuable in his house but an old refrigerator. Even the door to the toilet is broken. The house is covered up in various sheets and canvas to block out the wind and rain. According to Thang, he was born in Phu Yen Province and went to Dak Lak alone to find work as a porter. He then got married and has four children. 20 years ago, after working, he slept at the market and had a stroke in the morning. He was saved but his health deteriorated so quickly that he couldn't work anymore so he sells lotto tickets to earn money. His wife left them when their youngest daughter was one year old.
