Over 56,800 Vietnamese labourers sent abroad in 7 months
Vietnam sent over 56,800 labourers to work abroad in the first seven months of 2022 (Photo: VietnamPlus) Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam sent over 56,800 workers, including 21,238 females, abroad to work under labour contracts over the first seven months of 2022, equivalent to 63.2 percent of the target set for the year. According to data from the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA), Japan, Taiwan (China) and the Republic of Korea (RoK) remained the largest recipients of Vietnamese labourers during the reviewed period. With the number of workers going to work abroad continuing to remain stable, Vietnam’s plan to send 90,000 labourers to work abroad this year is completely feasible, the ministry said. Apple’s iPhone 15 goes on sale across Vietnam
Apple authorized resellers across Vietnam began iPhone 15 deliveries at 00:00 on Friday. Customers started lining up to get the new iPhone 15 at shops in Ho Chi Minh City at midnight the day before the launch. FPT Shop, a retail chain owned by Vietnamese technology firm FPT, organized an iPhone handover event at three of its stores in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang City. At an FPT Shop outlet on Le Loi Street in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, its employees were busy handing over the first iPhone 15s to customers from 0:01 on Friday. Vietnam creates best conditions for foreign NGOs
Foreign NGOs are also ambassadors who help spread the image of Vietnam and the Vietnamese to the world. The Vietnamese Government has asked ministries, departments and localities to create the best conditions for foreign non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to operate effectively and stably, Deputy Foreign Minister Ha Kim Ngoc told a conference on September 28. As head of the Working Committee on Foreign NGOs, Deputy Minister Ngoc stressed that foreign NGO affairs are an important part of Vietnam's development and foreign policies. Half of coronavirus cases in Vietnam recover
To be considered healthy, Covid-19 patients need to test negative for the virus three consecutive times and go through quarantine for two weeks. As of April 7 evening, Vietnam has confirmed 249 people infected with SARS-CoV-2 and nearly half of them have fully recovered and been discharged from hospital, according to the Ministry of Health.
