The paintings by child artists are part of a campaign initiated by the Vietnamese Ministry of Health and United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). They depict doctors as white-blouse soldiers who have relentlessly fought against the pandemic, through which children’s gratitude toward health workers is expressed. The video also conveys a message of solidarity in the fight against COVID-19./. 110 foreign experts to be isolated for COVID-19 combat The administration of Quang Ngai province, central Vietnam, has outlined plans to put a total of 110 foreign experts into isolation in concentrated places in an effort to prevent the potential spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The foreign experts are scheduled to pass though Huu Nghi international border gate in the northern province of Lang Son and then travel to Quang Ngai to work for Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Integrated Complex. The provincial administration requested relevant agencies to create favourable condition for the experts during their travel and quarantine back in Quang Ngai. At present, Quang Ngai is yet to record any positive COVID-19 cases this year, although local authorities have advised relevant agencies to closely control people entering from COVID-19 hotspots in the fight against the virus. Cases that violate the Health Ministry’s COVID-19 prevention and control measures will be punished, whilst local medical workers will take samples for testing of relevant cases, especially foreigners currently working in Quang Ngai. Vietnam’s ambassador to Argentina begins new term

Vietnam is one of Argentina’s important partners in Asia-Pacific and the ties will be developed further, Argentinean President Alberto Fernandez said as he received new Vietnamese ambassador Duong Quoc Thanh who presented the credentials to Buenos Aires on March 2. The two countries have focused on trade ties with the establishment of the Argentina-Vietnam Intergovernmental Committee on Economy and Trade in 2012. The two-way trade rose to nearly US$3.5 billion in 2019 from US$918 million in 2010. Argentina is Vietnam’s second largest trade partner in the Latin America and Vietnam is the fifth biggest buyer of Argentina goods. Within this context, they committed to foster the incorporation of higher value-added products, as well as strengthening cooperation between phytosanitary and zoosanitary control agencies on market access matters, in addition to maintaining cooperation and technical assistance actions. Facebook, Google, YouTube likely obliged to pay taxes in Vietnam
Crafted by the Ministry of Finance, the draft circular guides the implementation of the 2019 Law on Tax Administration and Decree No 126/2020/ND-CP dated October 19, 2020 of the Government providing further guidance on its execution. Overseas suppliers who have no permanent establishment but conduct e-commerce or digital-based business activities and derive income from individuals and organisations in Vietnam shall still be treated as permanent entities in the country. They shall be obliged to make online tax registrations and declarations on the General Department of Taxation’s official portal, and be allowed to open more than one bank account for making tax payments but have one email only to receive tax notifications. The draft circular also stipulates the obligation of banks and payment intermediary service companies to define transaction accounts of foreign suppliers who have no permanent establishment in Vietnam to withhold taxes.
