Among the medallists, Truong Bich Van established herself as the most prominent athlete at the event by winning two gold medals in the women’s discus and shot put F56 categories, and one bronze in the women’s javelin F56. Lâm Túc Ngân, 27, from HCM City, qualified for the biggest event after winning Ironman Philippines 140.6’s 25-29 year-old female group and finishing in the top 8 of the women's ranking.
