None of the works were signed - as has been Banksy's wont in recent years - but experts told AFP that they look genuine. The most political takes issue with France's tough anti-migrant policy, with nearly 40 makeshift camps razed in Paris in the last three years and President Emmanuel Macron determined that the city does not become a magnet for refugees. Man arrested in Disneyland Paris hotel with two handguns: police
PARIS - A man carrying two handguns, ammunition and a Koran was arrested Thursday at a hotel in Disneyland Paris, a police source said. The man was "detected upon his arrival at the hotel on the Disneyland site where he had a reservation. Hotel security found two handguns, a Koran and ammunition on him," the source said. Disneyland Paris said the guns were picked up by routine scanning of the man's bags at the hotel entrance. Police arrested the suspect and secured his vehicle. A police source said preliminary investigations did not point to terrorism, and that the man had said he was carrying the guns because he feared for his safety. They then arrested a woman, believing her to be his girlfriend, but released her after realising they had the wrong person, one of the police sources said. Disneyland Paris faces pricing probe
Disneyland Paris is facing a pricing probe following accusations that UK and German customers are being frozen out of certain price promotions. The Financial Times said people in the UK were paying 15% more for one day tickets. The European Commission told the BBC that it had "received a number of complaints" from customers. A Disneyland Paris spokesman said promotions were seasonal. The newspaper said in a report that in some cases French consumers were paying €1,346 for a premium package, while British visitors were charged €1,870 and Germans €2,447. The European Commission is concerned that Disneyland Paris is stopping consumers in some member states from shopping around for the best deals, EC spokeswoman Lucia Caudet told BBC Business online.
