Unresolved bad debt remains at high level

CPTPP helps leverage Vietnam-Australia investment cooperation

According to data of the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, last year, two-way trade between Vietnam and Australia hit US$12.4 billion for the first time, up more than 49 percent compared with that of 2020. The value of shipments to Australia reached more than US$4.45 billion, a year-on-year increase of 23 percent. Vietnam spent nearly US$8 billion in importing goods from Australia, up nearly 70 percent against 2020’s figure. Vietnam's exports to Australia are growing strongly, reaching US$1.38 billion in the first quarter of 2022, a surge of 32.36 percent against the same period last year. Deputy Finance Minister Nguyen Duc Chi is assigned to directly take the charge of the State Securities Commission (SSC) from May 19. Defense – Economic Unit 379 provides free health examination and medicines

Forty doctors and nurses of the participating units offered free medical examination, health counseling, and medicines for more than 660 local people. Vietnamese ‘blue berets’ plant trees in South Sudan

The activity was in celebration of the 132nd birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - 2022), towards the 8th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations (May 27, 2014 - 2022), and 47th founding anniversary of Military Hospital 175 (May 26, 1975 - 2022). The tree-planting activity attracted the participation of a lot of local people who first joined the event with curiosity and then with excitement after learning the significance of the event. Some actively asked for more trees to plant and take care of the trees themselves. This activity was meaningful to both improving the landscape of the place for medical examination and treatment and boosting the two hospitals’ bond.
