At the end of August, Hau Giang Cold Storage Logistic Co., Ltd. started construction on its first outsourcing cold storage project in the same province. The scheme includes six cold storages equivalent to a capacity of 88,000 tonnes. With an estimated investment of around $21.7 million, the project will use modern technology from the EU and applying digital management. It is scheduled to be ready for operations by 2027. The kitchen is part of Bếp ấm cho em (Warm kitchen for children), a Generali Vietnam community initiative that brings a better life for Vietnamese children. The project aims to raise funds to build a kitchen and other auxiliary facilities for 81 disadvantaged children in Điện Biên Province. Generali Vietnam donated more than VNĐ250 million to help NFVC build a new kitchen, fully-equipped kitchen utensils, a covered dining area, and a new water tank for children in the remote Xa Dung B village and Ban Mai kindergarten.
