Many cities have seized the opportunity to launch initiatives like Photo Hanoi'23 to promote the growth of culture and arts and to establish themselves as popular tourist destinations. More than 200 articles and programs have been published about the International Biennale Photo Hanoi'23. Over 170,000 visitors have participated in exhibitions and other activities. Social media posts have been viewed nearly 5 million times on PhotoHanoi networks alone, and 5,100 posts with #photohanoi hashtags have been sent on social media: Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok. The city boasts natural advantages for developing agricultural and rural tourism, especially river-related tourism, as it is surrounded by rivers and canals and rural areas account for more than 60% of its total area. It has 158 rivers and canals, including the Hau river, a tributary of the Mekong river. The Hau river runs a total length of 65km through the city. The city has many localities that offer tourism services in fruit orchards such as My Khanh tourism village in Phong Dien district, Son riverine island in Binh Thuy district and Tan Loc riverine island in Thot Not district.
