As of the Kanagawa Festival in Hanoi, its latest holding last year has left good imprints on the locals and Vietnamese people. Hanoi will continue tightening relationships with Japanese localities including Kanagawa, focusing on the development of economic and cultural exchange, educational cooperation, and manpower training, among others. Deputy Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Doan Toan stressed the idea when receiving Governor of Kanagawa prefecture Yuji Kuroiwa on November 11. The meeting also saw the attendance of Umeda Kunio, Ambassador of Japan to Vietnam. Visit Vietnam Year 2023 to officially kick off this March
The event, to be broadcast live by Vietnam Television, will introduce local cultural, tourism products, and historical activities set to take place during the year. The campaign is expected to help promote tourism recovery and development in the South-central province of Binh Thuan and attract domestic and international investors. The Visit Vietnam Year 2023 will feature more than 200 inter-provincial, national, and international cultural, sports, and tourism events, including an international culinary festival, a national rowing and canoeing tournament, a fair named Farmer's Market, a national golf championship, and a tourism week. Vietnam – Singapore ties contribute to cohesion in ASEAN: expert
So said Prof. Bilveer Singh from the Department of Political Science at the National University of Singapore in an interview granted to the Vietnam News Agency ahead of PM Pham Minh Chinh’s official visit to the city state from February 8 to 10. He held that the way in which Vietnam and Singapore view and understand each other, and together move forward amid numerous fast-changing external challenges is highly important. Assessing their strategic partnership, he highlighted the development of bilateral connections in economy, politics, diplomacy, culture, and defense, adding that the two countries’ relationship have established itself as a special one. Jeju Air to resume service to Vietnam from April 20
Vietnam plans to welcome one million Korean arrivals this year. Jeju Air, South Korea’s biggest low-cost carrier, will resume services on the routes from Incheon to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from April 20, after three years of suspension due to Covid-19, according to Yonhap.
