The event was held by PepsiCo Vietnam , the Centre of Education and Development (CED), and the Vietnam Chamber of Industry and Commerce (VCCI) - Da Nang branch. It was part of the “Increase awareness in plastic waste management” project funded by PepsiCo Foundation through Give2Asia and implemented by CED in collaboration with partners in Vietnam from January 2020 to December 2022. (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) - The General Administration of Customs (GAC) of China has just approved the pilot import of Vietnamese passion fruits from July 1, according to the Vietnam Sanitary and Phytosanitary Notification Authority and Enquiry Point (SPS Vietnam). SPS Vietnam, which is under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), said that GAC suggested Vietnam closely monitor packaging specifications and issues related to pest control, growing area code, and record keeping, to ensure quality and food safety hygiene before exporting the fruits to China . In addition, the Chinese side has introduced five pest species subject to quarantine that are not allowed to appear in passion fruits export ed to the country. The five-day visits of Vietnam’s National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue to Hungary and the UK marked a new milestone in bilateral relations, eventually contributing to the Vietnam-EU partnership. The Chairman’s official visit to Hungary was significant amid the 72nd anniversary of diplomatic relations and approaching the five-year mark of the comprehensive partnership (2018 – 2023).
