HCMC police rewarded for cracking massive drug trafficking ring

Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Ngo Minh Chau lauded the groups of police, stressing that the success in destroying the cross-country massive drug trafficking ring also manifests police forces to closely work together to handle drug trafficking and crack down drug criminals. As Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper published police has unearthed a drug trafficking ring in Ho Chi Minh City in March, 2019 seizing 895 packs of heroin. Police investigators have expanded their probe into the ring. Consequently, early November, they raided five warehouses in the city arresting many Taiwanese who transported drug. Drug investigators have seized 446 packs of heroin worth more than US$6 million from searching these warehouses. Police are hunting a Taiwanese. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Ho Xuan Hung and Mongolian Minister for Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Tunjin Badoamjunai, agreed on this at the 13th session of the Viet Nam-Mongolia Inter-governmental Commission for Economic and Scientific and Technological Co-operation. HCM City ready to host Vietnam-China diplomatic ties anniversary
