Viet Nam’s aviation industry has seen its strongest growth in the past decades with double-digit growth set in five consecutive years, but it is still faced with sustainable development issues. This was the theme discussed by aviation officials and experts at a conference to seek solutions for sustainable aviation development held by Giao Thong newspaper in the central coastal province of Binh Dinh last week. The network of domestic airlines has expanded rapidly with the participation of national carrier Vietnam Airlines and budget carriers Viejet, Jetstar Pacific, Bamboo Airways and Viet Nam Air Services Company (Vasco). Most of the 990 students attending the exams for the sixth grade at the Hanoi-Amsterdam School for the Gifted had a GPA of 10 for all five grades at primary school, which some say is a reflection of a dysfunctional school system. The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) will begin applying the new general education program for first graders next year. The trips will enable all successful applicants to gain valuable personal as well as professional first-hand impressions of Germany.
