The two projects were implemented after Long Thanh International Airport in Dong Nai Province got the go-ahead. Hoang Quan Real Estate Company’s Hoang Quan project was the first property project implemented to benefit from Long Thanh International Airport project. The five-hectare project which was built in 2010 has 21 semi-detached houses and 78 villas. Most of the houses have been sold. But a majority remain empty. It is obviously illogical since land is a valuable national resource and should be allocated to best promote the national competitiveness as well as the regional geographic advantages after identifying specific regional industry planning. He took the planning of Lien Chieu Port in Da Nang City as an illustration. It is too hard to transform this port into an international-scaled one no matter how much the local authorities wish for it to come true. Meanwhile, Chan May Port on the other side of Hai Van Pass is a more suitable place for this purpose. Nguyen Trang Linh, head of development at SANSE, founded in 2016 by students at the United Nations International School in Hanoi SANSE’s mission is to promote the sustainable growth of impoverished, geographically challenged, and agriculturally dependent regions in Vietnam; foster an understanding and connection between urban and rural communities; and promote the local educational systems and other learning opportunities as a tool to assist the sustainable growth of rural regions in Vietnam. Research program on sustainable development in southwest region
Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh has allowed the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) and the Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City to implement a research program on scientific and technology tasks necessary for sustainable development in the southwest region between 2015 and 2019. The Mekong Delta has yet to develop sustainably due to slow economic re-structuring and limited cooperative ties between the region and other provinces across the country, necessitating the plan, said Deputy PM Ninh, who is also Head of the Steering Committee for the southwest region, while chairing a workshop in Kien Giang province on March 27 th .
