At least 68 killed in Nepal’s worst air crash in 30 years
Hundreds of rescue workers were scouring the hillside where the Yeti Airlines flight, carrying 72 people from the capital Kathmandu, went down. Local TV showed rescue workers scrambling around broken sections of the aircraft. Some of the ground near the crash site was scorched, with licks of flames visible. The crash is Nepal's deadliest since 1992, the Aviation Safety Network database showed, when a Pakistan International Airlines Airbus A300 crashed into a hillside upon approach to Kathmandu, killing all 167 people on board. The plane made contact with the airport from Seti Gorge at 10:50 a.m. (0505 GMT), the aviation authority said in its statement. "Then it crashed." In the north, where Apple suppliers such as Luxshare and Foxconn already have a presence, BOE will lease 100 hectares to build a $150-million plant for making remote control systems on 20 ha and others for manufacturing displays. BOE will invest $250 million in a plant on 50 ha while suppliers will use the remaining 30 ha. Everything will be in place by 2025. The company plans to make the more sophisticated organic light-emitting diode, or OLED, screens … [Read more...] about Global tech investors continue to bet on Vietnam
My wife wants to stay in her parent’s house as I am not financially stable
My work is not stable and I consider that a disadvantage. When we got married, we did not do reproductive healthcare checks though I suggested that we do this. My wife is the same age as me. Our parents' houses are only 2 kilometers apart. We lived with my parents when we first got married. However, in the last eight months, she has stayed in her parents' house. After a conflict, she called her parents and asked to stay there. In the past, she did mention leaving my parents' house, but I thought it was not okay since it did not make economic sense, and partly because my family dynamics are complicated. I am the only child in the family, with a brother from the same father and a different mother. My parents are over 75 years old and they don't get along very well, partly due to my father's personality. My wife lived with my family but she didn't fulfill her daughter-in-law's obligations. We don't eat together with my parents. She always gets food from her parent's house, claiming … [Read more...] about My wife wants to stay in her parent’s house as I am not financially stable
