According to Director of the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Van Man, the tapping of maritime potential will be associated with a series of drastic measures against illegal, unreported and unregulated ( IUU ) fishing. These measures include tight vessel management, strict punishment of related violations, communications activities to raise public awareness on the matter, better investment in fishery infrastructure, and the implementation of policies for improving fishermen’s livelihoods, among others. In 2022, the province’s seafood output topped 361,000 tonnes, exceeding the yearly target by nearly 26%. During the session, delegates were briefed on the organ’s task performance in 2022. Accordingly, the GDP embraced resolutions of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Central Military Commission on military-defense tasks, and led its task performance comprehensively and better than 2021. The GDP provided recommendations for higher levels to build clean and firm Party organizations and a strong military in term of political affairs. The organ actively renewed and accelerated political and ideological education for troops, contributing to building firm stance for them and fighting against wrongful viewpoints of hostile forces. Pakistan police detain 23 suspects after deadly mosque blast
Police in Pakistan have detained 23 people in connection to a blast at a mosque inside a police headquarters that killed 101 people, a senior official who asked not to be named said Wednesday. A policeman (R), who was injured in a mosque suicide blast inside a police headquarters, recovers in a hospital in Peshawar on February 1, 2023. Authorities are also probing the possibility that people inside the compound helped to coordinate the attack, the senior provincial police official told AFP on condition of anonymity. A suicide bomber slipped undetected into a highly sensitive compound in northwest Peshawar and detonated explosives among a row of worshippers in the compound's mosque on Monday, causing a wall to collapse and crush officers. Da Nang promotes food into unique tourism product
A convergence of local specialties and those of nearby provinces and foreign countries, Da Nang is considered as a representative of the rich culinary heritage of Vietnam. Some of must-try dishes include banh xeo (Vietnamese pancake), mi Quang (Quang noodles), Banh trang cuon thit heo (sliced pork rolled with rice paper), goi ca Nam O (Nam O fish salad), among others.
