Jakarta (VNA) – The Indonesian Directorate General of Customs and Excise recently hosted the fourth Joint Customs Middle-Management Programme (4th JCMMP), attracting representatives from eight ASEAN Member States and Australia. As a foundation to the networking platform for future customs leaders of the region, the two-day virtual event, promoted knowledge and experience sharing on handling emerging issues in the region, and strengthening the relationships of ASEAN Customs administrations’ middle-management level officers. Assuming the role of Chair of the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institution (ASOSAI) for the 2018-2021 term expresses the recognition from international friends of the capacity the SAV possesses. The resolution highlights the viewpoint that the SAV, as an agency set up by the National Assembly, will operate independently and in accordance with the law, upholding the core value of Independence – Integrity – Professionalism – Prestige – Quality, contributing to the development of a stable, sustainable and transparent national finance.
