Ba Ria-Vung Tau lacking inter-regional connectivity
“Ba Ria-Vung Tau has met all the conditions to develop a logistics centre and international transshipment seaport,” said Nguyen Van Tho, Chairman of Ba Ria-Vung Tau People’s Committee, at the Logistics Development Linkage Conference on September 8. Tho said that logistics has been identified as one of the four economic pillars of Ba Ria-Vung Tau, thereby driving provincial socioeconomic development. As of the present, the province has developed a diverse logistics service system, with more than 300 businesses providing goods transportation and logistics warehousing services. Philippine firms interested in brand franchising in Vietnam
According to Vo Tan Thanh, Director of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ho Chi Minh City, franchise has increased in Vietnam recently, which has not only brought about investment opportunities for enterprises but also created favorable conditions for consumers to access world prestigious brands. It has also contributed to creating a diverse and transparent environment, he said, holding that franchise with diverse business forms is suitable for those who wish to launch a startup firm. Currently, many brand names have operated in the form of franchise, including about 40 percent of catering services. Hanoi exceeds international visitor target in 2023
Hanoi received 18.9 million tourists in the first nine months of this year.
