The band was founded in 2018, and its name is quite long: Duca Community of Hoan Kiem Lake Walking Street, with the purpose of simply relaxing after working days. The crowd's cheers and applause and the sound of guitars and drums caught everyone's attention on the pedestrian street around Hoan Kiem Lake, a historical place famous for its peaceful beauty but now crowded. Kayla, one of the tourists from America who joined the audience, told The Hanoi Times : "It's different from the States. I am surprised that there is no lead singer, but the people around are singing loudly. I am lucky to be in Hanoi on the first day and already enjoy the vibes here". (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – The Belgian Embassy in Vietnam held a ceremony in Hanoi on March 22 to announce the official logo marking the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Belgium diplomatic ties this year. Speaking at the event, Belgian Ambassador to Vietnam Karl Van den Bossche said the logo design contest for the occasion was open for Vietnamese designers and young artists. Through various media channels, the organising board received 130 entries. The winning logo was designed by Ly Khanh Linh, a 22-year-old student from Graphic Design Faculty at FPT University. It was inspired by famous cultural heritages of both countries with the hope of conveying the message of cultural exchange and friendship. Illustrative image (Source: VNA) Lam Dong (VNA) – A tourism golden week will be held in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong, home to famous resort city Da Lat, from April 27 to May 3. The provincial People’s Committee said on March 22 that it approved in principle the organisation plan by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The event, the second of its kind, will take place in all the 12 cities and districts in the province, featuring special programmes, according to the department. The theme of “Tourism of experience, culture and cuisines” is picked up for Da Lat and Lac Duong, Lam Ha, Duc Trong and Don Duong districts, with 14 programmes, including an opening ceremony, an international music festival, exhibitions and art performances.
