New York (VNA) – Vietnam presided over a United Nations Security Council session on January 13, during which the organisation adopted a resolution to extend the mandate of the UN Mission to support the Hodeidah Agreement (UNMHA) in Yemen and listened to a report on activities of the UN mission overseeing the peace agreement in Colombia. The council unanimously adopted Resolution 2505 extending the mandate of the UNMHA until July 15. The UNMHA was established by the UN Security Council under Resolution 2452 on January 16, 2019, with the main task of overseeing a ceasefire and the troop redeployment in Yemen’s Hodeidah city and coordinating UN efforts to help the parties implement the Hodeidah Agreement. Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam Development Report (VDR) 2019: Connecting Vietnam for Growth and Shared Prosperity was co-launched by the World Bank (WB) and the Ministry of Investment and Planning in Hanoi on January 15. The report is a series of flagship analytical and policy reports by the WB in Vietnam. In his remarks at the launching event, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue said the government of Vietnam wants experts to continue bringing out solutions for developing trade infrastructure.
