The flights connecting HCM City with Perth and Adelaide will officially serving passengers from November 21, 2023 with five return flights per week. The flights from Ho Chi Minh City will take off at 6:35 (local time), land in Perth at 14:20 (local time) and continue flying to Adelaide, land there at 21:10 (local time) on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. National Geographic stops broadcasting in Vietnam
Certain cable network users in Vietnam have reported not being able to access the channels for a few days prior, instead only being notified that "the program was disrupted due to technical reasons". By Sunday, the signal from all three channels were no longer available in all services in Vietnam. National Geographic and Nat Geo Wild are channels focused on science, nature and exploration. Baby TV is a channel geared towards children's contents. All three belong to The Walt Disney Company. The three channels were distributed in Vietnam through MSky company and were available in several broadcasting services, like FPT Play, TV360, ClipTV and VTC, according to the Authority of Broadcasting and Electronic Information. Consular Club of Ho Chi Minh City raises funds for vulnerable communities
The Consular Club of Ho Chi Minh City (Consular Club HCMC) hosted a fundraising dinner in the city on Saturday evening to raise funds for disadvantaged children, minority girls, and needy people in southern Vietnam. Hanoi exceeds international visitor target in 2023
Hanoi received 18.9 million tourists in the first nine months of this year. The number of international visitors to Hanoi in the first nine months of 2023 has exceeded the annual target, the Hanoi Department of Tourism reported. China’s factory activity recovery slows in September
The Caixin/S&P Global manufacturing purchasing managers' index (PMI) fell to 50.6 in September from 51.0 in the previous month, missing analysts' forecasts of 51.2. The 50 index point mark separates growth from contraction. The world's second-largest economy is showing some signs of stabilising after a flurry of modest policy measures, but the outlook is clouded by a property slump, falling exports and high youth unemployment. The survey comes a day after China released its official PMI, which showed factory activity expanded for the first time in six months in September, adding to the run of indicators suggesting the economy has begun to bottom out.
