The southern province of Dong Nai may fail to start work on a belt road project due to some reasons, including sluggish site clearance. The VND75.3 trillion 76 kilometre-long Ring Road 3 will run through HCM City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Long An. VND41.5 trillion will be used for site clearance. The section going through Dong Nai is 11.2 kilometres long and has an investment of VND2.6 trillion. It connects Vinh Thanh Commune in Nhon Trach District and Nhon Trach Bridge. Work on the section in Dong Nai was scheduled to begin by the end of June. However, to date, the site clearance in Dong Nai has moved at a snail’s pace. Canada to review duty taxes on Viet Nam’s corrosion-resistant steel

Particularly, CBSA will stop gathering information on June 15, and the parties will submit their arguments on June 22. The deadline for submitting information is June 29, and CBSA will announce the result on July 17. Previously, CBSA proposed anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations against COR steel imported from Turkey, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Viet Nam in November 2019. Hanoi’s second metro line delayed again to 2027
In a decision issued by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Tuesday, the completion of the capital's second metro line has been pushed back five years later than previously planned. The decision was in line with a recent proposal by the Hanoi People’s Committee to postpone the project’s completion date. The total investment for the project is now over VND34.8 trillion, with VND3.9 trillion more coming from the city budget, and VND2 trillion less coming from Official Development Assistance (ODA). The committee will be responsible for the accuracy of information and statistics regarding the project, including the resolution of potential issues, the decision stated. Hanoi will also be responsible for the delay's extra costs, which will be paid for with funds from the city's 2021-2025 public investment plan. Truck rams through traffic light, killing one
At around 7 p.m., numerous vehicles were stopped at a traffic light at the Thuan An Hoa-My Phuoc-Tan Van intersection in Thuan Giao Ward. A truck then came from behind and rammed into the rows of vehicles. Three motorbikes were heavily damaged by the impact. A 20-year-old man died on the spot. Two other people were rushed to the hospital. Nearby vegetable stalls were also damaged in the incident. "I was sitting inside my house when I heard a loud crash. When I ran outside, I heard screams and saw 2-3 people lying on the road," a witness said. The accident caused a traffic jam, and police officers were dispatched to barricade the area.
