(Photo: VNA) Bangkok (VNA) – Thailand will join hands with Vietnam to combat fake news, Thai Minister Attached to the Prime Minister's Office Puangpet Chunlaiad has said. The information was disclosed by Puangpet after her meeting with Vietnamese Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung to gain an insight into its anti-fake news initiatives. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 16th Conference of the ASEAN Ministers Responsible for Information (AMRI) and the 7th AMRI Plus Three Conference  in the central city of Da Nang, Vietnam, from September 22-23. Visitors can gain a deeper insight into Vietnam's rich and diverse ethnicity through the virtual photo exhibition. Two hundred photographs of women in traditional costumes from 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups, taken by renowned French photographer Réhahn, are being displayed for the first time on Google Arts' online digital museum - Google Arts & Culture. This portrait of a Red Dao woman was taken by Réhahn in Sapa, Vietnam's northern province of Lao Cai. The photo exhibition of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups called "Precious Heritage" is divided into eight categories, including the costumes and cultures of ethnic groups living in the north, south, central, and southeastern regions and the art of indigo cloth dyeing of ethnic people in northern Vietnam. PM Pham Minh Chinh, who is in an official visit to the South American country, stressed that after nearly 35 years of the establishment of diplomatic ties, the bilateral relations have developed positively in all fields. To date, carbon emissions from building operations have reached an all-time high of around 10 gigatons of CO 2 . This figure is an increase of about 5 per cent compared to 2020 and 2 per cent higher than the previous peak in 2019. Therefore, reducing carbon emissions in construction projects plays an essential role in achieving an overall reduction. The World Green Building Council (WGBC) has developed a vision and action framework up to 2030. In particular, all newly built construction projects must have zero operational carbon and reduce their associated energy by 40 per cent in terms of embodied carbon. By 2050, all buildings (both existing and new) must achieve-zero operational carbon, with new constructions having to achieve zero carbon content. Taking place from September 20 to 25, the visit is the first foreign trip of the Japanese Crown Prince, and Crown Princess after the COVID-19 pandemic, and is also the first by any member of the Japanese royal family to Vietnam in six years. Their official visit to Vietnam was made on the occasion of the 50th founding anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations (1973-2023).
