Vietnam hosts flash flood guidance system in Southeast Asia
Vietnam officially launched the Southeast Asia Flash Flood Guidance System (SEAFFGS) on Tuesday and assumed the leading role in forecasting landslides and flash floods in the region. The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Administration (VNMHA) held a conference on the same day to announce the SEAFFGS operation.
