(Photo: VNA) Seoul (VNA) – Vietnam is among destinations favoured by people from the Republic of Korea ( RoK ) for the Mid-Autumn holiday , known as Chuseok in the country. According to a recent survey conducted by the Incheon International Airport Corporation from August 7 to August 24 regarding passenger opinions, Vietnam is chosen by 14.5% of the respondents, ranking second on the list of most favoured international travel destinations for Chuseok. Japan topped the list with a rate of 28.2%. Vietnam also placed second among preferred travel destinations for those aged 20 and 30 (13.8% of respondents) and those aged 40 and 50 (12.8% of respondents). (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – International tourists are becoming increasingly drawn to Ho Chi Minh City where they can discover its vibrant blend of cultures through standout tours. Of the total 25 million tourist arrivals that the city hosted during January – August, there are nearly 3 million foreigners, up 105.2% year-on-year. Local tourist sites such as Ben Thanh Market , Sai Gon Central Post Office , and the War Remnants Museum have been favoured among the visitors. The event was held by Hanoi Centre for Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion (HPA) in collaboration with the Hanoi Young Business Association. As many as 100 businesses showcased their products, services, and outstanding technologies during the event, seeking business and investment opportunities with both domestic and foreign companies. Le Tu Luc, deputy head of the HPA, said that the event was organised to introduce Hanoi's investment, trade and tourism promotion achievements, strengthening cooperation between international investors and businesses in Hanoi and the surrounding area.
