PANO – "Spring travel helps international friends better understand the history and culture of Vietnam" is the sharing of many ambassadors and diplomats when visiting the Trung Sisters’ Temple in Me Linh district, Hanoi, on March 13th, as part of the annual Friendship Spring Festival held by the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations; the municipal Department of Tourism of Hanoi; and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations. Held annually, the Spring Festival this year attracted more than 300 Vietnamese and international delegates, including ambassadors and their spouses, representatives of diplomatic agencies, international organizations, non-governmental organizations in Vietnam and other relevant central and Hanoi’s agencies. "Fever of Vietnam's Culture is attacking Singaporean museums" is a breaking news in the Life Newspaper in Singapore. The dealing event is a festival that introduces Vietnam's culture from April to July, 2008. 34 exhibitions, cultural events, workshops on Vietnam are being held in Singapore. In May, SingaporeFineArt Museum held an exhibition recommending 60 Vietnam contemporary artists and the first international conference on Vietnam fine art in the Doi moi (Renovation) period. The Ba Na tourist festival 2005 will be held in Ba Na - Suoi Mo area over three days in mid May. This will be an important event of the Danang tourism promotion program. The festival aims to publicise Danang, call for tourism investment, speed up the socio-economic development in the city's western area, and develop ecological tours of Ba Na Resort. It will also impress tourists with an image of an annual festival. Traditional bai choi music, culinary arts and folk games will also be organised. Especially, this will be the first time musical troupes from ethnic districts of Danang, Quang Nam and Thua Thien - Hue will perform, along with professional artists. The "Meeting at Ba Na 2005" was officially held at the Ba Na - Mo Stream tourist zone on July 1. The festival started with ecological tours and treks to Vong Nguyet hill and Chua Mount and some other attractive activities, including photo and pottery products exhibitions and musical performance. The 'Meeting at Ba Na 2006' Festival is coming. Danang's related sectors and localities are ready for the festival. From July 14 to July 16, the activities will be held in the Central Area, Le Nim and Bana By Night. Tourists can participate in eco-tours and enjoy traditional dishes. There will also be outdoor entertainment activities, including bai choi, smashing cooking pots, flying Hue kites, meetings of Danang youth and the Ba Na photo exhibition. On the evening of July 14, the gong festival will be held.
