Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) delegation at the Government Headquarters on March 22. The attendees were leaders of the Government Office and the ministries of Planning and Investment, Industry and Trade, Foreign Affairs, Finance, Transport, Information and Communication, Health, Agriculture and Rural Development, Culture - Sports and Tourism. US companies upbeat on investment opportunities in Viet Nam

Chairman of the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) Ted Osius said the council was never as busy as it is now. Its services are in high demand because many US companies show great interest in the country. He also said USABC representatives from other countries told him that they must act quickly because they were competing with Viet Nam. According to the Department of Industry and Trade of the northern province of Vinh Phuc, statistics reveal that the province currently boasts 105 OCOP products. Among them, 26 products meet the four-star OCOP standards, 79 products meet three-star OCOP standards and many other high-quality traditional products. Many of these products are exported.
