The survey is set to cover 9,000 people in 48 communes and wards of 12 provinces and cities nationwide, heard a symposium in Hanoi on June 9. The bill, which was made public to receive opinions from the people from January 3 to March 15, aims to complete the land-related institutions and policies to match the socialist-oriented market economy institutions, while dealing with the overlapping and differences in policies and legal regulations in the field. NA adopts resolution on supervision programme in 2024
At the meeting (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – The 15th National Assembly adopted a resolution on its supervision programme in 2024, with 451 out of 459 votes in favour, at the fifth session in Hanoi on June 8 under the chair of NA Vice Chairman Tran Quang Phuong. Accordingly, the NA decided to conduct the highest level of supervision on the implementation of the NA’s Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 dated January 11, 2022 on fiscal and monetary policies supporting the socio-economic recovery and development programme, the NA’s other resolutions on key national projects till the end of 2023 and the relevant preceding and subsequent periods; and the enforcement of policies and laws regarding real estate market management and social housing development from 2015 to the end of 2023 and relevant preceding and subsequent periods. State leader receives outgoing Bulgarian ambassador

Students in Hanoi sit for the 10th grade entrance exam
Many students are confident and comfortable when taking part in high school exams on the first day, though the entrance exam in Hanoi is a fierce competition. More than 116,000 ninth graders in Hanoi take three tests in their high school entrance exams for the 2023-2024 school year on June 10 and 11. The Hanoi Education Department has prepared nearly 5,000 examination rooms in 201 venues while mobilizing some 20,000 officials, teachers, and staff to supervise the exams. The municipal People's Committee has asked those in charge of all 201 examination venues to ensure the availability of disinfectants, provide guidance to students, and maintain contact with parents on exam days. Students will be tested in mathematics, literature, and foreign language, with a choice of either English, French, German, Japanese, or South Korean. Cyber authority tightens up on harmful content

Viet Nam's cyber authority is tightening up on the platform to curb harmful content. — XINHUA/VNA Photo Viet Nam's cyber watchdog is seeking to tighten its grip on social media to keep the country's cyberspace free of 'harmful content'. That is what the Authority of Broadcasting and Electronic Information (ABEI) is doing. The authority said it had threatened bans on non-compliant social media to prevent users' exposure to harmful content in cyberspace. The authority took YouTube as an example. It said Youtube would get its application removed from smart televisions if the corporation allows harmful content to continue unchecked on the platform.
