In 2021, the city police set the goal to plant and care for 3,000 trees, in an effort to respond to the Government’s programme on planting one billion trees by 2025. On the morning of the same day, General To Lam, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security attended a tree planting festival held by the People's Public Security Political Academy. Also on February 22, the Quang Binh Provincial Women’s Union in coordination with the Dong Hoi City Women's Union launched the Lunar New Year 2021 tree planting campaign, as part of the nation’s efforts to plant one billion trees within the five years from 2021-2025 at the call of the Prime Minister. With the spirit of ‘each woman – one green tree’, over 700 women in Quang Phu Commune, Dong Hoi City, participated in the festival and planted over 1,000 casuarina trees along the coast of the locality. …

Hải Dương Province started to conduct large-scale testing for the novel coronavirus, using realtime-PCR technology from Wednesday. — VNA/VNS Photo HÀ NỘI — Nine community cases of COVID-19 were reported on Wednesday evening, all in the northern province of Hải Dương. Six cases are in Kim Liên Commune, Kim Thành District which is under lockdown. Two are in Cẩm Giàng District and were previously quarantined. One case in Thanh Hà District was detected through mass screening. All of the new patients are being treated at the second field hospital of the province. An additional 30 COVID-19 patients were given the all-clear on Wednesday evening, raising the total recoveries to 1,790. The death toll remains at 35. There have been 1,504 community infections so far, of which 820 have been reported since January 27. Among patients still under treatment, 97 have tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 once, 26 twice and 68 three times. — VNS …

Pursuant to the Circular No. 58/2020/TT-BCA of the Ministry of Public Security prescribing procedures for issuance and revocation of vehicle registration and license plates of road motor vehicles, owners of all business vehicles have to carry out the procedures of changing their license plate color from white to yellow in advance December 31, 2021. After the above- mentioned date, cases that do not change the license plate will be handled according to Decree 100/2019 / ND-CP of the Government. In order to create favorable conditions for individuals and enterprises, the Road-Railway Traffic Police Division under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Public Security assigned staffs in charge to receive and keep track of changing license plates procedures. Accordingly, individuals and enterprises have to fill all the information on vehicles registration certificate when performing the procedures. As for the businesses, it is obligated to attach an official letter with a list of vehicles and accurate license plates. Particularly, it is mandatory to fill in registration form as for the vehicles owned by businesses having demand of changing license plates and registration certificate. In case of the individuals and enterprises do not change the plate number and vehicles owner information, it is not necessary to drive the vehicles to the registration agencies for checking the engine and chassis numbers. After receiving the yellow plates, the vehicles owners will hand over the old plates for the registration agencies which would not affect the business activities of individuals and enterprises.
