Second National Paragliding Club Championships 2022 starts
The second National Paragliding Club Championships 2022 opens on Ly Son Island off the coast of Quang Ngai Province on May 21. The competition comprises individual man and individual women categories and team classification. Each team is made up of a maximum of seven pilots. Pilots will take off from a point on Thoi Loi Mountain and land on the 500-square-meter area. The competition will run from May 21 to 22. Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai Province Nguyen Tien Dung said that the event aims to enhance the strength training movement and contribute to the propaganda on national sovereignty over sea and islands among people as well as promote Ly Son’s tourism. Young lifter Rahmat Erwin Abdullah of Indonesia won a gold medal and broke a Games record in the men's 73kg. The 21-year-old athlete succeeded with a 155kg lift in the snatch. This record is also a personal record for Erwin. His previous heaviest lift was a significantly lighter 145kg . Moving on to the clean and jerk class, Erwin almost immediately beat his competitors at the first opportunity, immediately lifting 180kg. This again surpassed the SEA Games record of 177kg. While organisations have benefited from higher employee productivity levels, more needs to be done to build an inclusive culture and fully embed hybrid work arrangements to boost readiness levels and enhance employee experience. Cisco's "Employees are ready for hybrid work, are you?" study found that 70 per cent of employees in Viet Nam believe that the quality of work has improved. A similar number (67 per cent) felt that their productivity has enhanced. On top of that, 84 per cent also feel their role can now be performed just as successfully remotely as in the office.
