(Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam has successfully organised SEA Games 31, rounding off the tournament with a spectacular ceremony, Malaysia’s media have said. In an article titled ‘Hanoi SEA Games ends in colourful, vibrant, spectacular style’, Vikneswaran Raman of the Malaysian news agency Bernama reviewed highlights of the Games’ closing ceremony at Hanoi's My Dinh Indoor Athletics Arena. The reporter said the ceremony, powered by stunning light shows and marked the rejuvenation of sports in the region. The article also noted Vietnam in its second time hosting the sports event, topped the medal tally with a massive 205-125-116 medal haul. Daily consumption in April was estimated at 779 million kWh while load power stood at about 42,124 MW, rising 5.3 percent year on year. Difficulties are likely to linger on this season in terms of coal supply for thermal power plants . The State-owned group said coal shortages were recorded in Q1, at 1.36 million tonnes lower than the contracted volume, forcing thermal power plants to cut turbines, reducing output by 1.365 billion kWh. Facing that reality, the firm worked with coal suppliers to find solutions and reported the problem to authorities. Major General Hoang Kim Phung, Director of the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations (VNDPKO), representatives of the VNDPKO, the Military Medical University, Australian Defense Attaché Office in Vietnam, relatives of the L2FH Rotation 4’s personnel attended the event. The tournament  will be divided into two stages. The first stage will take place from June 1 in Lam Dong province with five teams of Cao Bang, Hung Gia Khang Dak Lak, Quang Nam, Tan Hiep Hung, Vietfootball. They will compete in a round robin format to decide the four teams that will progress to the second stage. The second stage will witness the participation of the four winners in the first stage and the top six teams from last year’s National Futsal HDBank Championships, including Thai Son Nam, Sahako, Zetbit  Sai Gon FC, Thai Son Bac, Sanvinest Sanatech Khanh Hoa, and Hieu Hoa Da Nang. The ten teams will compete in two legs. The first leg will take place from June 13 to July 4 in Lam Dong province while the second leg will be held from November 5 to 26 in Can Tho City.
