Vietnam has no COVID-19 case to report on February 28 morning Vietnam saw no new COVID-19 case over the past 12 hours to 6am February 28, making the national tally unchanged at 2,432, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control. Among the total, 1,530 were locally infected, including 837 cases since January 27. A total 1,844 COVID-19 patients have recovered so far, and the death toll remains at 35. Among those still under treatment, 32 have tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 once, 50 twice and 100 thrice. By February 27 afternoon, 10 provinces and cities had gone through 14 consecutive days without new locally-infected cases of COVID-19. As many as 63,054 people who had close contact with confirmed patients or returned from pandemic-hit regions are being quarantine across the country./. First Vietnam medical achievement award calls 16 winners The Voice of Ho Chi Minh City (VOH), the local official radio broadcasting station, together with the municipal Health Department hosted the first Vietnam medical achievement award ceremony on February 26 to honour 16 contributions to the community’s wellbeing in 2020 from across the nation. The contributions were voted by the public from 22 nominations selected by the award’s council of professionals. Three months after its launch, the award received more than 60 nominations from medical facilities nationwide. Among the winners were the work of doctors at the Cu Chi COVID-19 treatment hospital – the first of its kind in Vietnam, and medical staff at the HCM City Centre for Diseases Control. Since the pandemic begin in the country, hundreds of medical workers in Ho Chi Minh City have taken turns to be at the hospital, while preventive medicine workers at the centre have worked day and night on contact-tracing and testing sample collection. Hanoi’s top 10 cultural events

The Hanoitimes - Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports announced 10 outstanding cultural and sports events in 2015. The events were selected fromr consultation of nearly 100 media agencies in the city. 1. The successful organising of culture and sport activities to welcome political events, major holidays of the country and the capital in 2015. 2. Completion of permanent body of the City Party's Steering Committee of the programme 04 on "Developing culture and society, improving the quality of municipal human resources and building elegant and civilized Hanoians in the 2011-2015 period. 3. Completion of the total inventory, assessment and classification of monuments which was assessed to achieve outstanding results by the Acceptance Council. 4. The Tug of War rituals and games in Tran Vu temple, Thach Ban ward, Long Bien district and Pull of mine rituals and games in Vua Ba temple, Lai Xuan village, Xuan Thu ward, Soc Son district has been inscribed by UNESCO as the Intangible cultural assets of humanity and joined in building a multinational heritage dossier. 5. Achieving excellent results (3 gold medals, 3 silver medals in the programme and plays) at the national and international professional art competitions. 6. The State President for the first time conferred the Emeritus Artisan for 39 artisans and 37 artists in Hanoi in the intangible cultural heritage field who are considered living humanity treasures.  The title is in recognition of the artisans’ contributions to the preservation of the country’s precious heritage. 7. Successful organising of exchanges and cooperation in culture and sports between Hanoi and the provinces and cities nationwide contributed to promote, introduce and enhance the image and position of the city and the country. 8. A glance at Iran’s glorious achievements in the post Islamic Revolution era
