The Moffatts, one of the most beloved boybands the 1990s and 2000s, performed at the HAY Glamping Music Festival in Hanoi last Saturday night. Thousands of fans stood in the rain for hours to cheer their idols. Bob and Clint, two members of the boyband, visited Sa Pa, around 320 kilometers from Hanoi, earlier this month and shot a music video there to promote tourism. They stayed at the Ville de Mont Mountain Resort, which stands 1,500 meters above sea level overlooking the Muong Hoa Valley and Ham Rong Mountain. Deputy Director of the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Huu Hung said that the number of Covid-19 cases in the city in the last weeks of July tended to increase, the Department has advised the municipal People's Committee to choose August as the peak month for vaccination against Covid-19 for children. In his opening remarks, Hue said that the session will last for two days and a half, during which the committee will look into a draft report on the outcomes of the thematic supervision of policies and laws on thrift practice and anti-wastefulness for 2016-2021. Amendments to draft revised land law expected to be done in 2023: N.A. Chairman
He asked the Government to send the dossier of the draft law to the N.A. Committee for Economic Affairs and the N.A. Standing Committee before September 1 to seek feedback from full-time legislators. The MoNRE should work harder to build reports on economic, social, environmental impacts as well as impacts on national defense and security, and the domestic business environment. Apart from the document, relevant laws need to be adjusted too, Hue stressed, adding that the N.A. Committee for Economic Affairs and the MoNRE should play the key role to help the legislature and the government mobilize contributions of people and scientists to the bill. The granting and use of the new passport will be among the issues about which Minister of Public Security Gen. To Lam will be questioned at the 14th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee on August 10. Compared to the old passport, the new version is produced by using modern technology to meet higher security requirements and standards of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), according to the MPS’s report sent to lawmakers prior to the meeting. At the conference, Huynh Thanh Khiet, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction, said that in the period 2016-2021, nearly 15,000 apartments in 19 social housing projects were completed.
