The celebration will open with a photo exhibition featuring portraits of Vietnamese women taken by 15 young artists who participated in a photography workshop hosted by the French Institute in Huế and Đà Nẵng in January. The photos can be seen until April 9. A talk show about gender equality will be organised featuring speakers of Julia Levivier, head of the French NGO organisation Planète Enfants & Développement (PE&D) in Việt Nam, psychologist Lý Thị Mai, and Lê Thị Hồng Ánh, head of Human Resources of Sanofi Vietnam. The show will be hosted by Trần Anh Đào, economist, lecturer and researcher at the University of Rouen in France, and the Research Institute on Contemporary Southeast Asia. It will be presented in both Vietnamese and French. The event will end with a screening of French documentary Des Femmes Et Des Hommes (Women And Men) by female director Frédérique Bedos with Vietnamese subtitles. The two sides agreed to deepening the enhanced strategic partnership between Vietnam and Thailand in an effective manner, increase the exchange of all-level visits, and maintain bilateral cooperation mechanisms. Vietnam and Thailand will work together to organise activities celebrating the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties this year, sign an action programme implementing the enhanced strategic partnership, and a cooperation agreement between the two foreign ministries for 2021-2025. An official in Hai Duong, a female teacher in Hai Phong, and other individuals have evaded medical declarations or given false information, violating the regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control. New Covid-19 infection cases have been found in Hai Duong On February 22, the Hai Duong Police commenced criminal proceedings in a case where the defendant is charged of spreading dangerous infectious disease to humans. The defendant is Nguyen Thi Th, born in 1969, residing in Hai Tan Ward of Hai Duong City, a Covid-19 patient. From February 1 to February 15, Th, who was then suspected of having Covid-19, did not make medical declarations and observed the epidemic prevention measures. Her behavior resulted in the spread of the disease to her husband, child and home help. The residing area where Th and these people are living has been put into quarantine. These are complicated infection cases which have caused difficulties in the fight against the pandemic and economic losses.
