E.C. pledges support for Vietnam in developing sustainable fisheries
E.C. Commissioner for the Environment, Oceans and Fisheries Virginijus Sinkevičius made the remarks at a meeting with Vietnamese Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan in Brussels on September 18. The E.C. representative also said the E.C. wants to assist the Southeast Asian nation in becoming a model of sustainable fisheries development and anti-illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing in the world. Legendary music group Westlife to wow Vietnamese audiences in November
According to the group's official fanpage, tickets for this concert will be on sale from September 26. The music night will take place at Thong Nhat Stadium - with a capacity of about 15,000 spectators. The four members - Mark, Kian, Shane and Nicky - are expected to perform hits such as Uptown Girl, Seasons in the Sun, Flying Without Wings, No One's Gonna Sleep Tonight and many other famous songs. Westlife's The Wild Dreams Tour kicked off in 2020, but had to be postponed for two years due to the epidemic, and some members had health problems. World-renowned boy band Westlife to perform in Vietnam in November
Irish boy band Westlife thrilled Vietnamese audiences on Tuesday night by revealing their plan to come back to Vietnam for a live concert scheduled for November 22. The band wrote on their Facebook account that “Vietnam! We are so excited to be coming back with the Wild Dreams tour on 22nd November 2023.” Their live concert will take place at Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, according to their Facebook post. 2 men found taking others’ wallet, watch at Hanoi airport
Security officers at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi checked surveillance camera footage and detected a Vietnamese man taking a wallet and another picking up a watch dropped by other passengers at the airport before boarding flights to the south. At 10:00 am on Monday, J.V.R., 31, of Indian nationality, reported to the Noi Bai Aviation Security Center that he lost a wallet containing his identity papers and cash totaling VND1.45 million (US$59.4) at the T1 domestic passenger terminal while completing procedures for his flight to Phu Quoc Island off southern Kien Giang Province. Security personnel at Noi Bai International Airport checked the camera footage and found a man holding the wallet preparing to board a flight from Noi Bai to Can Tho City in southern Vietnam the same day.
