After five years, the HQBP has more than 1,500 students enrolled in five courses with three disciplines: Finance - Banking, Accounting and Business Administration. All graduates from the first two courses are employed or pursuing higher studies abroad. The ambassador of Singapore in Hanoi, Ng Teck Hean, has affirmed that late Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew was a firm believer in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and also a key figure in laying a solid foundation for Singapore-Vietnam relations. "Mr. Lee first visited Vietnam in 1992 when he was then-Senior Minister, and struck up a close friendship with many Vietnamese leaders. Over the decade, Mr. Lee had many in-depth and frank conversations on Vietnam’s Doi Moi reforms and the opening up of its economy. Ace Life funds school building in Central Vietnam Binh Nguyen By Binh Nguyen in HCMC ACE Life Insurance Company Limited (ACE Life Vietnam) has committed VND2.2 billion to support construction of Quang Thanh No. 2 Primary School in Quang Dien Commune, Quang Dien District in Thua Thien-Hue Province. Through the Central Region Natural Disaster Prevention and Support Fund, ACE Life Vietnam has provided the money for the school, which got off the ground last week. This is the fourth school building project funded by the “Crossing Waves Fund”, which is ACE Life Vietnam’s corporate social responsibility program providing educational support to the community.
