At the bachelor level, students will complete 2 years at BUV, then transfer and continue their studies at Bond University for 16 months. For the MBA program, students complete the master's program at BUV and continue to study for additional 8 months at Bond University in Gold Coast, Australia to receive the Master degree issued by Bond University. Netherlands helps Mekong Delta agriculture sector to adapt to climate change
Illustrative image (Source: VNA) Can Tho (VNA) – The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Can Tho city held a working session with a delegation from the Dutch Embassy on August 9, during which the two sides exchanged views on the Mekong Delta’s sustainable agricultural transformation . Dr. Dang Kim Son, an expert in agricultural policy who led the Dutch delegation, noted that the Netherlands wishes to cooperate with the Mekong Delta and Can Tho city in agricultural transformation, focusing on specific agricultural products and experts. Cultural exchanges held to mark ASEAN’s 55th founding anniversary
The activities, including film screenings, fashion shows, flag raising ceremony, culinary introduction, folk games, and sports tournaments, among others will take place from August 6 to 28. Organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in coordination with the Indonesian Embassy and the Philippine Community in Tanzania, the event aims to promote exchanges and connections between citizens within ASEAN and Tanzania in the fields of culture, cinema and cuisine. Biden signs bill to boost US chips, compete with China
"The future is going to be made in America," Biden said, calling the measure "a once-in-a-generation investment in America itself." Biden touted investments that chip companies are making even though it remains unclear when the U.S. Commerce Department will write rules for reviewing grant awards and how long it will take to underwrite projects. Some Republicans joined Biden on the White House lawn to attend the signing of the chips bill that was years in the making in Congress. The chief executives of Micron, Intel, Lockheed Martin, HP and Advanced Micro Devices attended the signing as did governors of Pennsylvania and Illinois, the mayors of Detroit, Cleveland and Salt Lake City, and lawmakers. The White House said the bill's passage was spurring new chip investments.
