Kien Giang (VNA) - The first round of the National Billiards and Snooker Tournament 2020 kicked off in Rach Gia city in the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang on June 11. Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air and Bamboo Airways have been found selling more tickets than their seating capacity. The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) has requested the three airlines not to sell tickets that exceeded the number of confirmed slots. The order was made following the CAAV’s check and monitor the ticket sale activities of local airlines. In case, the airlines continue to ignore the request, the CAAV will not issue a licence for aviation transport. Between January 27 and February 26, local carriers will focus on domestic air routes with over 1,000 fights per day, up 28% on-year. The number would be 1,200 flights on peak days. Besides the daytime, airlines will also increase their flights at night from 10 pm to 7 am the next day with 140-150 flights per day.
